Jolufe Student GmbH modernises the "Papageienhaus" extensively

Since 1st September 2011, Jolufe Student GmbH is the new owner of the housing complex “Papageienhaus” in Bochum. Next few months we are going to renovate the whole housing complex step by step. The furniture of all rooms and apartments will be replaced by new furniture. In addition we are also going to reconstruct and improve the bathroom facilities.

We are going to renovate floor by floor, so we are able to avoid disturbance of the tenants due to renovation. Our workmen are trying to finish the renovation floor by floor as fast as possible. No daily nuisance will be caused due to renovation.

Because we know you are here for studying and you need silence.

We are connecting nations : The "Papageienhaus"

Colourful as the nations of its tendants the "Papageienhaus" also represents itself from the outside. Here the name is presenting the program. Built in 1972 the "Papageienhaus" accommodates continuousely more than 400 students. Here they find a cosy home during their university-life.

Apart from the direct access to the Ruhr University - the University is within easy reach by tram within 2 minutes - the central position is one of many advantages of the house.
